Outfit of the Day # 3

OOTD: NYC nights LA days

T-shirt: Forever21
Tank: Urban Behaviour
Jeans: Forever21
Boots: Mirage
Necklace: Forever21

As you can see, Forever21 pretty much dominates my wardrobe! The boots I am wearing today are the most comfortable pair I own. They are sort of a cowboy boot meets punk? The heel is thick and about 1-2 inches high so very easy to get around in. I can walk around the mall in these for hours. Probably one of my best boot finds. I will likely have these for a while, its already been three years and I still love them and wear them all the time. Wish I could remember which store they came from.

Jalapeno Popper Chicken

Jalapeno Popper Chicken

Going along with the theme from yesterday's appetizer, I made Jalapeno Popper Chicken for dinner.  This one a little bit more involved but still not hard. It uses cream cheese as well, I am loving the cream cheese as it creates a creamy texture that I love.  This was really good but very filling for me.

As requested:
1. Fry 1 cup of Panko using oil until golden brown - remove from heat. Add 2 tsp of taco seasoning to panko.
2. Whisk an egg in a separate container
3. In another container mix together 2 peppers, 4 oz of cream cheese and 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese to create the filling.
4. Cut a slit into each chicken breast big enough to create a pocket. Fill pocket with filling mixture.
5. HARD PART ** coat each chicken breast in beaten egg and roll in fried panko. (very tricky to keep everything together, and very messy.)
6. Cook at 375' for about one hour.

Quantities of each ingredient really depend upon how many breasts you are planning to make. I made four so my ingredients are for four servings. Adjust as you like/need.

I didn't serve mine with anything because I found the chicken very filling on its own, and Anthony was already asleep so it was just me eating. I would probably suggest a light side, like a salad.

Homemade Poppers

Homemade Jalapeno Poppers

Another very simple and delicious recipe. I made these with a roll of Philsbury crescent rolls.  Just spread out each individual roll and add a tsp of cream cheese. Top with a slice of pepper. The original recipe called for a piece of bacon but I didn't have any so I used a piece of pepperoni. Roll up each roll and pop them into the oven for 15 mintues. These disappeared right away!

Pizza Grilled Cheese

The Pizza Grilled Cheese

This was my breakfast this morning, so good.  Very simple to make, and you can change the recipe to however you like to eat your pizza.  I just used sauce, cheese and pepperoni for mine. All you need to do is prepare just like a normal grilled cheese but add on toppings when you put on the cheese. This version is a lot more messy too. Especially when flipping.

Outfit Post # 2

Outfit Post: Abstract

Top: Sirens
Leggings: Dailylook.com
Watch: Gojane
Nails: Shark week nails

I put this outfit together rather quickly just to run some errands - walk the dog, pick up dinner, get gas, that sort of thing. It came together so quickly but I was proud of the final product. Usually when I throw something together for errands I end up looking ridiculous.

This week is Shark week I believe, and although I am not really a huge fan, nor do I understand all the hype...I saw this on a tutorial on youtube and thought it was super cute!

Outfit Post # 1

Outfit Post : Crochet Lace

Top: Urban Planet
Shorts: Dailylook.com
Necklace: gift

This shirt is awesome btw, I want one in every color. The fit is amazing, and the material is so light. Not to mention how vibrant the colour is. I wear this top a lot whether its with skinny's, leggings, or tucked into a skirt or shorts.

Yesterday we went out for lunch, and the highlight of it all was the dessert called Funnel Cake Fries. If you have ever had funnel cake you can imagine how great these were. The only place I am aware that you can get it, is at Canada's Wonderland so this smaller sized version is nice!
