First off, these pictures came out huge & I apologize! 

This week we took a mini vacation/date night to Niagara Falls with a little help from 

Groupon. We got a one night stay in Hotel Ramada, 4 wine tours & tastings, a tour of the Chocolate F/X factory (above), $15 to IHOP, $30 to The Keg, and $20 to the Outback Restaurant. These photo's were taken outside the Chocolate F/X factory. We got to see how they make chocolate (starting from the harvesting of cocoa fruit, right down to moulding and packaging) then we got to taste it. We sampled a chocolate covered strawberry and some ice wine truffles. Needless to say, it was amazing.

Now onto the outfit...I love mixing tom boy pieces with classic girly pieces. The way these pants contrast with these heels is awesome! This style of heel is so flattering on everyone, I can't stop looking at my feet when I wear these. They make feet look pretty. Also, I could have easily gone without the blazer and next time I probably will.

This outfit is super comfortable and easy. It was perfect for a day spent working a secret project that involved a lot of moving around lifting and running out for errands.  P.S. I will share this secret project with you all when it's finally complete. I like to add dressier pieces like my Michael Kors watch to spice up the outfit and make it look more put together. Anthony told me I looked like hobo but what does he know about fashion?

Can I just start by saying "how freakin' awesome are these booties?" I am literally in love with these and for the first time ever, I want them in every colour. Super stylish and versatile, not to mention very easy to walk around in. They are selling out fast so get yourself a pair soon! It's wing night at the Fireside Grill back home so myself and a friend went out for wings and beer to catch up!  My vest is from the store Plato's Closet. I have talked about this store in a previous post. It's a second hand store for current on trend items and brands. You can get some amazing deals up to 75% off of things you would see in the mall right now!  They will even buy your trendy clothes from you when you feel like doing a closet purge. There are a few locations scattered across ontario. If you have one in your town you should check it out.  Go to their website to see. Each store also has their own Instagram page where they post some new popular items coming in. I am obsessed with shopping here.

It is still far too cold here to wear dresses, even with tights it's a daring move. I am dreaming of cute Easter outfits with pastel colored skirts and dresses but I think I will have to be more creative if I plan to leave the house at all! For those of you who have warmer weather, or are brave enough to rock a dress in "sprinter" (spring/winter) here is an excellent way to style your dress for formal and casual events.

OOTD: Crop Top

I am so happy summer has arrived and I can start wearing my collection of crop tops that I have accumulated over the winter! I love the subtle geometric cut outs around the bottom of the shirt and the scalloped sort of edge. I like to pair my crop tops with high waist bottoms, it seems a bit more classy and a bit less trashy.  I just wore some plain black Volcom flip flops that I did not picture here.
